Nilgün Nalçacı was born in Germany.
After graduating from Izmir Anatolian Fine Arts College, she studied Stage and Costume Design at Mimar Sinan University, Fine Arts Academy. In 1995 she started to work in the film industry. Since 1999 she has been working as an Art Director and Production Designer in feature films, tv commercials, tv series and as a stage designer in the theatre. She worked in co-productions in Russia and France. Travelling the world, taking pictures, sea, nature and yoga are her passions and also she is a Permaculture Designer. She lives in Istanbul and İzmir.
